Amir Or, a leading Israeli poet, published 14 poetry books, translated to 45 languages, and published in 34 books in Europe, America and Asia. Or is the 2020 Golden Wreath Loreate, and his numerous other honors include Prime Minister’s Prize, Fulbright Award for Writers, the 2016 European Atlas of Lyrics award and the Homer European Medal of Art and Poetry. He also published 2 novels, a book of selected essays, and 11 books of his translations from English, Ancient Greek and other languages. Or is the founder of Helicon Poetry Society and its Hebrew-Arabic Poetry School. He has served as national coordinator of the U.N.-sponsored Poets for Peace, national editor for international magazines, and editor of Catuv poetry series.
